I’m Atin Mehra, an award-winning filmmaker based in the Los Angeles area. With over 25 years of experience, I’ve worked across India, Nepal and the United States, creating powerful documentaries, films, commercials, reality shows, music videos, graphics, non-profit and corporate videos.
My passion lies in crafting moving and still images that capture life. Much of my life’s work is focused on social impact, including disability-related content.

HCBS FINAL RULE / THE ANIMATED SERIES
"I shot the ASL Picture-in-Picture content for the California Department of Developmental Services HCBS Final Rule / The Animated Series. The series features characters like Lorenzo, Maya, Dexter, Steven, and superhero Lanterman, who share stories to explain the rights of individuals receiving Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). Designed to equip regional centers, service providers, and the broader community, the series illustrates the ten federal requirements of the HCBS Final Rule. Each episode was translated into 20 languages, including ASL, to ensure accessibility and inclusivity."

Atin Mehra brings 25+ years of experience in editing, color grading, and creating graphics and titles for documentaries, short films, and promotional materials for businesses and nonprofits.
In addition to editing short films and web series, Atin has also served as an assistant editor on feature films. Proficient in AVID, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, he delivers seamless edits while performing basic color grading to enhance visual storytelling. For graphics and design, Atin utilizes Adobe Photoshop and Pages to create engaging visuals.
Atin’s expertise lies in crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences, making him a versatile and dependable collaborator for any project.
